These OFQUAL regulated qualifications provide learners with the specialist knowledge, skills and understanding relating to firefighting in areas such as leadership skills, physical fitness and equality, diversity and inclusion, which can be applied to current or future employment in a variety of roles.

Whether you want to explore what it takes to be a member of the firefighting team, you’ll need to develop essential skills in problem solving, teamwork, leadership and more. These qualifications have been developed with employers, subject experts and tutors to ensure that it’s relevant to the real world and meets the needs of employers.

These qualifications are particularly appropriate if you have an interest in progressing to a career in the uniformed services, but also aids progression into an apprenticeship or into higher level studies.

Learners will also be awarded UCAS points after successful completion.
