Early Years License to Practice and Practitioner Bundle
With our Early Years course bundle Learners will not only be able to gain fully qualified sector status, this which will enable them to gain a licence and right to practice as an Early Years Educator in a wide range of care settings, but will also be able work as an Early Years Senior Practitioner within the Early Years Workforce across the private, voluntary and independent sectors, or progress to higher education in a relevant subject area.
Learner can start with Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) following which the can complete NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner. Along with the above bundle they can also complete Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings recognised by OFSTED and designed to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework.
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
This OFSTED-recognised qualification, Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator), prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
Upon achievement of this qualification, it is intended that learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators.
With fully qualified sector status, this qualification will enable you to gain a licence and right to practice as an Early Years Educator in a wide range of care settings.
NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner
The aim of the Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner qualification is to support leadership and management skills in early years and the knowledge and skills relating to early years practice.
Department for Education (DfE) full and relevant approval
This qualification meets the requirements of the Department for Education’s Early Years Educator full and relevant criteria, allowing the learner, upon completion of the qualification, to count towards the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) staff: child ratio at Level 3.
Aims of the course
These are to:
- Understanding skills to manage others to support children’s care routines
- Understanding and skills required to lead practice in support of children’s well-being and resilience
- Assess the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills required to lead the promotion of positive behaviour through role modelling and application of child development knowledge and understanding
- Understanding the importance of providing a range of activities, experiences and educational opportunities for speech, language and communication for a child’s holistic development
- Understand the role of the Early Years Manager in effective early education from birth to 5 years: planning and assessment within an enabling environment
- Understanding of how children and young people develop from birth to 7 years
- Evaluate partnership working to support all aspects of development in children
- Demonstrate through own practice ways to encourage and support children to express their feelings, views and hopes
- Gain License to Practice within Early Years Sector
Course Structure
You will start with NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) followed up with NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner. While working on these qualification you will also be able to complete NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings
How the course is delivered
This course bundle is delivered via blended learning. Learners also get full access to online Learning Environment (VLE) which provides access to case studies, learning materials and activities, presentations, and web links. Online tutor support and guidance is provided throughout the course, where learners can interact with the tutors, get feedback on their progress and submit their work electronically. Face to face interactions will be conducted through video sessions or within the classroom environment.
Entry requirements
- Learners must be aged 16 or above
- An appropriate level of skill in the English language. International learners will be required to have ILETS 5.5 or equivalent.
Certification
After successful completion, students will achieve:
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator),
NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner
NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinators in Early Years Settings
Upon successful completion of the qualification, you will attain fully qualified status in the sector, as well as a license and the right to practice in the childcare workforce as an Early Years Educator
